Well that was a fail...

I abstained from voting this last election, one of the major reasons was because I felt that it was the choice between the lesser of two evils. Another though was that I simply didn't know. I didn't feel Obama's promises rested on any real ground. He talked of hope and change, but how? This stuff can't magically happen. In any case, one thing that I really, I mean, this one I honestly believed, I thought he would actually bring more transparency to the government. After all, everyone hated it when Bush withheld information for the "Safety of the State" or whatever you want to call it. Personally I feel he did alright in most areas, but this is one thing about him that I hated, how much stuff was kept secret.

But I'm off topic, I didn't start this topic to relive the arguments over which side is better. I started this because I honestly though Obama had some good to offer in making the government more transparent.
