Name: Name of the weapon.
Level: Tech level of the weapon (higher generally better).
Type: What type of weapon it is (beam, projectile, or missile).
AR: Attack Rating - Increases the potential for dealing damage, and the damage potential
Damage: How much damage the weapon does (low-high end), higher numbers are better.
Cooling: The cooling time or reloading time of a weapon. The lower the number the faster it can reload, meaning a cooling time of 50 vs a weapon with the cooling time of 200, the 50 will fire 4x more often.
Angle: The angle at which the weapon can fire. This is centered on the front of the ship, so a 360 degree angle can fire at any angle while a 180 degree weapon can only fire when the ship is facing the enemy.
Range: The maximum range the weapon will fire at, higher is better.
Space: The amount of space the weapon takes up. Higher numbers mean you can't fit as many of them on your ship.
Effects: Any extra status effects this weapon will have.

Note: Some weapons are only available to certain races.

Weapon Effects
Armor Piercing: Increases the chance you will score a critical hit (more damage) against armor. It is reduced by Impenetrable Armor
Shield Piercing: Increases the chance you will score a critical hit against shields
Shield Distortion: Increases the chance you will bypass enemy shields, hitting the armor directly
Shield Overheat: Deals 3x damage to shields, ignoring shield solidity.
Additional Damage to X: This one should be obvious
PSI: Damage subtype
Corrosivity: Increases damage to armor by 1% per corrosivity
